Why volunteer with us

Chayanit Foundation works with neurodivergent musicians and artists. Our volunteers help us run rehearsals, organise events, manage our online presence, and support our artists in everyday tasks. Every volunteer plays a real part in helping neurodivergent individuals build confidence and pursue their passion through music and the arts.

Areas you can volunteer in

1. Event Support – Help set up and manage our performances, festivals, and community events.
2. Music & Rehearsal Assistance – Support rehearsal sessions and help artists prepare for performances. (Some musical background preferred but not mandatory.)
3. Social Media & Content – Help create posts, reels, and photos/videos for our Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube pages.
4. Fundraising & Outreach – Help us connect with donors, CSR partners, and sponsors.
5. Administrative Support – Help with documentation, scheduling, and coordination for the Foundation’s day-to-day work.
6. Design & Content Writing – Help design posters, brochures, or write content for our proposals and website.
7. Photography & Videography – Capture our events, rehearsals, and performances.
8. Special Olympics Bharat coordination support – Assist during joint events and programmes with our partner organisation.

Time commitment

Most roles need 3–4 hours a week. Event-based roles may need more time closer to a performance date. We are flexible and will work around your availability.

Location

Most volunteering happens in Delhi/NCR, where our rehearsals and events take place. Some roles (social media, content writing, design) can be done remotely from anywhere.

Who can volunteer

You must be 18 years or older to volunteer with us. Anyone with a genuine interest in music, arts, or inclusion is welcome, regardless of prior experience.

Remote volunteering

Yes, remote volunteering is available for content, design, and social media roles. In-person roles (event support, rehearsal assistance) require you to be based in or near Delhi/NCR.

How the selection process works

1. Fill out the short application form below.
2. Our team will reach out to you within 5–7 working days.
3. A short conversation to understand your interest and availability.
4. Once confirmed, you’ll be onboarded and briefed before starting.

Safeguarding

Since we work closely with neurodivergent individuals, all volunteers are expected to follow our code of conduct around respectful, safe, and inclusive behaviour at all times. Depending on the role, a background check may be required.

Recognition

All volunteers receive a Certificate of Volunteering from Chayanit Foundation after a minimum commitment period. Long-term volunteers may be featured on our website and social media.
